RIO, Wis. – Ham, bacon and pork chops from Johnson’s Sausage Shoppe in Rio have been recalled as possibly contaminated and carrying serious health consequences. There have been no sicknesses reported, however. The Wisconsin Consumer Protection Department said the products were delivered to:
> Loganville: Vindicator Brand.
> Rio: Johnson’s Sausage Shoppe.
> Union Grove: Two Creeks Farms in Union Grove.
> Viroqua: Wisconsin Meadows.
> Numerous farmers’ markets that are impossible to track.
The problem was discovered during a routine state inspection. They bear the inspection mark Establishment No. 293.
