WABASHA, Min.—v A rural Zumbro Falls man accused of murder in his father’s grisly death last March was ruled competent to stand trial. Judge Sanjeeta Jain ordered that James Edward Riley, 43, remain in jail in lieu of $250,000 bail. The charge: Second-degree murder. Riley’s next court hearing was scheduled for July 7.
