LACROSSE, Wis. – The 800-shop Kwik Trip chain of convenience stores has invited schools throughout its three-state territory to enroll a book-reading program that rewards kids with pizza for reading. Individual teachers set goals every month. The prize: A pizza slice or a garden salad. Pre-schoolers through six-graders are eligible, said marketing aide Taylor Gritzner.
