LEWISTON, Minn. – The Land Stewardship Project was awarded $75,000 from the Bremer Foundation to train beginning farmers, to establish support networks and to increase the financial capacity and sustainability of family farmers. Karen Stettler, a project organizer, said the grant also will support winter workshops for retiring farmers and non-operating landowners.
