ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – A woman whose vehicle as clipped by a crashing airplane on a freeway Wednesday said she saw it coming for perhaps one. second. The single-engine plane was skidding down the freeway from behind Brittany Yurik, who was alone in the vehicle. She walked away shaken but unscathed. There was no motion in the plane, Yurik recalled in an interview with television station WCCO. Then the airplane door opened, and te pilot and a woman climbed out. The next day the pilot, Craig Gifford, called her, Yurok said. “He’s very kind. He was very apologetic. He explained to me what happened, and I just can’t believe we’re all OK. I think he was feeling the same thing.”
