WINONA, Minn. – Police remained on the look-out for a Winona man wanted regarding a brutal assault on a former girlfriend early Wednesday at a Mankato Avenue house. Officers had waited outside a courtroom later in the morning for the man, who was scheduled for a hearing on another matter. He didn’t show.
