OWATONNA, Minn. – A man was stabbed in an argument at an Owatonna apartment house and died and revived. Police got Charles Ellis, 42, breathing again for an ambulance crew, which took him to the airport for a 40-mile med-evac flight to a Rochester hospital. Police were called to the apartment, at 1120 East School Street, about 3:45 a.m. They found Ellis bleeding from multiple chest wounds. Two men in the apartment gave police accounts of what happened. The weapon was a kitchen knife. It turned out too that Ellis had a restraining order against a Waseca woman for his protection.
