SAUK RAPIDS, Minn. – A man climbed into the cab of a moving railroad switch engine and slashed the engineer with a knife. The engineer jumped from the engine, which rolled to a stop a few blocks away in the Sartell neighborhood. Arrested was Samuel David Hohman, 42. He was taken the Benton County jail in Foley. This was just after 8 a.m.  the engineer was treated 40 miles away at the St. Cloud hospital. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
