ST. PAUL, Minn. — A man was charged in the accidental shooting death of an unattended 2-year-old boy in a St. Paul apartment. The boy, Jayse Wilson, shot himself. Earl Williams, 39, was charged with manslaughter and illegal possession of a firearm. The criminal complaint said one of the boy’s sisters was watching television in the living room when she heard a loud bang. Williams then rushed out of the apartment and told the girl to call 911. The boy was on the floor of the bathroom, where, the complaint said, Williams had left the gun.
