CASHTON, Wis. – The 2,000-cow Mlsna East Town Dairy was responsible for a manure spill that killed nearly 120 trout in Knapp Creek in the Kickapoo River drainage, the state Department of Natural Resources said. The spill was October 30, investigators said. Three-thousand gallons of manure entered an unnamed tributary and entered Knapp Creek south of the Mlsna Dam.
