WINONA, Minn. – The Winona Chamber of Commerce will seek City Council approval to close off Third Street downtown again for street dining and vending on Friday nights this summer. The Chamber’s Main Street project manager, Ben Strand, noted that street dining last summer helped restaurateurs and other merchants through the Co-Vid crisis. City ordinances would need to be adjusted to allow sidewalk vending and pedestrian traffic in the street.
