MEXICO CITY, Mexico – As expected, the Canadian Pacific and the Kansas City Southern railroads received regulatory approval to merge from the Mexican Federal Economic Competition Commission and the Mexican Federal Telecommunications Institute. The merger will create the first single-line rail network linking the United States, Mexico and Canada.
