MADISON, Wis. – The Democratic Governors Association launched a television campaign that mocks Wisconsin Republican Tim Michels’ claim that he never a negative ad in his bid fir governor. The fact is that Michel has gone negaguveve, the Dem governors’ group says. In July after rival GOP candidate Rebecca Kleefisch launched attack ads against Michels, he came out strongly against her without quute usig her name. Michels’s script: “When politicians are shocked to find themselves losing, they go negative out of desperation. So it is sad that the former lieutenant governor has decided to go negative by falling in line with politics as usual.”

Screen omipresence. Michels’ campaign spokesperson says opponent Rebecca Kleefisch went negative first.
