VAL DI FIEMME, Italy – Minnesota skier Jessie Diggins won the women’s FIS Cross-Country Ski World Cup finals. Her victory and that of Team USA teammate Bill Koch made them the only Americans to win overall season titles for a World Cup cross-country ski circuit. Diggins, who began skiing near her native Stillwater at Afton, is the first American woman ever to win the Cross-Country Skiing World Cup title. In 2018 at the Pyeomchang Olympics, Diggins and teammate Kikkan Randall won the U.S. first women’s cross-country skiing gold medal.
