ARCADIA, Wis. – A driver from Independence was injured albeit not seriously in a three-car accident north of Acadia on an icy stretch of State Highway 93. Deputies said a minivan heading toward Independence lost control on a curve and struck an oncoming sedan. Then a third vehicle crashed into the wreckage. This was about 2:45 a.m. The injured driver declined medical assistance, deputies said. The drivers: Sara Adank, 35, of Independence; Pablo Gonzalez, 19, of Independence; and Cesar Marcos, 28; of Independence. The accident was near the turn-off to River Valley Road.
