WINONA, Minn. – The Winona police dispatcher took a worried call about a man who hadn’t come home from work. The call was about 11 p.m. from the 1000 block of Glen Echo Road. Some 7-1/2 hours later, deputies followed car tracks in the snow down a bank off County Road 19. Inside was the stuck car was the missing man. He was uninjured. Deputes weren’t sure why the man spent the night in subfreezing cold inside the disabled vehicle. A tow truck was called.
