DUUTH, Minn. – An Iron Range woman was charged with pimping her own daughter when the girl was 11 for drugs and cash. A criminal complaint against Daisy Joy Buley, 36, of Virginia, says she would tell her daughter to “get pretty for the men” and then drive her to the men’s houses in small towns around Virginia and Ely and arrange the transaction. Afterward the mom would take the girl home, the girl said. This happened at least seven times, the daughter told investigators. The men were 40 to 70, the girl said. After each incident, she said her mother would be given cash or drugs as payment. Buley was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct and first-degree aggravated sex trafficking. Bon was set at $100,000.
