BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis.– Black River Memorial Hospital opened its new $13 million clinic with an emphasis on mental health. The primary focus, however, remains primary care, said chief executive Mary Beth White-Jacobs. She said a survey had found that Jackson County residents wanted better access to mental health care. With the new clinic in place, she said, clients can now be matched with a primary-care doctor one day and connect with a mental health counselor the following day.
