KELLOGG, Minn. – Two vehicles heading in opposite directions collided on State Highway 42 between Kellogg and Plainview, but no was hurt seriously. One driver, Abigail Lynn Cole, 37, of Owatonna, was taken to Rochester hospital as a precaution, The other driver, Gayle Louise Leonhardt, 58, of Kellogg, was taken to a Wabasha hospital, also as a precaution. In the Cole vehicle was Lydia Elouise Barrnes, 7, of Owatonna, who was uninjured, and Saphia Grace Barnes, 10, of Owatonna, who was taken to a Rochester hospital with non-life threatening injuries. In the Leonhart vehicle was Jason Tyler Tlougan 13, of Kellogg, who was unhurt. Police said Cole was driving a 2004 Ford Focus northbound and Leonhardt a Ford 2014 Explorer southbound. The accident was about 10:10 a.m. at 590th Street.
