MINNEAPOLIS — One of four former police officers charged in the death of George Floyd asked a judge to dismiss the charge that he aided and abetted. Thomas Lane’s attorney submitted two body-camera videos that show Lane twice asking his fellow officer Derek Chauvin to turn Floyd on his side and that Chauvin said no and continued with a choke hold. Lane’s attorney, Earl Gray, said there was no reason to prosecute his client.
