PETERSON, Minn. – Two men were injured when their pickup crashed into a ditch at the Mill Street turn-off into Peterson. Joshua T. Mitchel, 28, of Lanesboro, the driver, and Matthew M. Soppa, 36, of Peterson, were taken to a LaCrosse hospital. Their injuries appeared non-life threatening the State Patrol said. They were westbound on Hughway16 in a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado. The Patrol said that alcohol was involved in the accident, which pccured about 2:45 a.m.
