RED WING, Minn. – A Goodhue County man, Cody Franklin Banitt, 31, of Welch, was hurt when his pickup went off Highway 19 west of Red Wing. His injuries were described at the scene as sustainable, but he was taken by ambulance anyway to a Rochester hospital 50 miles away. Bannitt, alone in the vehicle, was eastbound, toward Red Wing, in a 1999 Ford F150.This was about 9:45 a.m.
