KASSON Minn. – A school bus turning into the Kasson Middle School with a load of children was struck by a pickup truck. One child on the bus was injured but only slightly, police said. The accident was about 7:50 a.m. Police said the bus driver, Gregory Louis Brambrink, 71, of Kasson, was in a southbound lane of Highway 57 and turning left at 16th Street Northeast. Road conditions were dry, police said. The pickup, a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, was northbound. Police did not release the name of 17-year-old driver. He also was headed to school. He was unhurt.
