CAMBRIDGE, Minn. – The pilot and his teen-age passenger survived the crash of their single-engine Cessna in a cornfield. The plane had engine problems after taking off from the Cambridge airport. The pilot attempted to return to the airport but, not having enough speed, attempted an emergency landing. This was about 8 p.m. The pilot, age 40, and his daughter, 18, were standing beside the wreckage when deputies arrived. Sheriff Vic Williams declined to releasee their names immediately but said both were from Anoka County, 50 miles away in.
