WINONA, Minn. – Kiwanis Sunrisers Club members filled 50 backpacks with school supplies to donate to the Ready Set School lorganization to help needy kids start the school year. Bob Herman, chair of the Kiwanis children’s committee, said the project was funded jointly by the Sunrisers Club and the Thrivent insurance agency.
