ST. PAUL, Minn. – A $5,000 fine was levied against a Plainview gym whose owner defied state CoVid restrictions and stayed open in November. Attorney General Keith Ellison announced the settlement. The gym’s owner, Brandon Reiter, had become a folk hero among like-minded people who decried government overreach. To meet legal expenses and make up for lost revenue after a judge  ordered him to comply, Reiter created a crowd-funding site and  raised $16,000.
