WINONA, Minn. – The cops went looking for Emilo Ryan Martinez, 18, on a report that he was violating a court order not to contact anyone at a residence in the 900 block of West Fifth Street. There the woman said he wasn’t there. The cops searched the place and departed, but they suspected that Martinez had gone out a window. A while later the cops were back. One stayed outside while another talked again with the woman. Indeed, Martinez came out the window again. He realized that he had been seen and went back inside. There he turned himself in. This was all about 7:40 a.m.
