WABASHA, Minn. – The Hayfield High School principal accused of sex crimes with classmates and younger children as a teenager in the 1990s posted $100,000 bail and was released from the Wabasha County jail. As a condition for release, Grant Klennert. age 37, was ordered not to leave the state or have contact with anyone under 18. That would preclude his school duties in Hayfield, where he already was put administrative leave. His next court date: December 21.
