WINONA, Minn. – A Winona man crossing a street on the Far West End was struck by a pickup truck and injured. Tony Dale Hunter, 55, of Winona, was not believed seriously hurt but taken to the hospital to be checked over. The accident was about 6 p.m. at U.S. Highway 61 and Pelzer. The trooper on-site said the pickup driver, Nathan Leroy Gribbons, 40, of Winona, had stopped in a northbound lane at a red light and was turning onto Pelzer. The trooper said that Hunter had been drinking.
