FARIBAULT, Minn. – State Senator John Jasinski, R-Faribault, changed his plea in a drunken-driving case, records show. In a plea deal the drunkenness charge was dismissed in exchange for a guilty plea to careless driving. The judge issued a 90-day jail sentence, which was forgiven pending one year of probation and good and sober driving. Jasinski was fined $300 and ordered  undergo a chemical dependency evaluation. The arrest was the Saturday night of October 3.
