DANVILLE, Calif. – William (Bill) James Tuohy, 57, who regarded Minnesota as a second home, died in Danville. He graduated from San Lorenzo High School in California in 1983 as valedictorian and varsity football player. He worked in the tech industry in Silicon Valley from 1987 through 2008, when he decided to pursue a doctorate. He completed course work at the University of Minnesota in 2015. In later years he worked at Google as an electrical engineer and chip designer.
