UTICA, Minn. – Darcy Schaefer, 52, of rural Utica, who worked worked 31 years at Mayo Clinic as a surgical tech, died at St. Marys hospital in Rochester. She was a graduate of John Marshall High School and Rochester Vo-Tech in the surgical tech program. Most of her adult life was near Pilot Mound, where she enjoyed the outdoors.
