WABASHA, Minn. –Doug Poldoski, of Wabasha, who held U.S. Army medals for Vietnam service, and who came home with latent Agent Orange poisoning, died at age 71. After Vietnam, he worked as a marine merchant in Duluth and South America. He traveled  all over the United States as a surveyor, including work on the Alaskan Pipeline. He eventually settled in Minnesota in many maintenance jobs. He also wrked for Federal Mogul in Lake City building pistons. Because of Agent Orange, he was forced to retire in 2009.
