ST. CHARLES, Minn. – Elvira “Ellie” Loretta Krier, 94, of St. Charles, a nurse at Mayo Clinic for 15 years, died on at Chosen Valley Care Center in Chatfield. After rearing six children on a farm southwest of St. Charles, she decided to get her GED and studied at Rochester Area Vocational Technical Institute.
