PICKWICK, Minn. –Fredrick W. Parpart, 89, of Pickwick, died at a La Crescent nursing home. He worked at Peerless Chain in Winona for more than 40 years, retiring in 1987. He and his son Scott also built new homes. In his spare time, he pinned buttons for Express-a-Button plant at Nodine.
