WINONA, Minn. – Eugene H. “Gene” Olson, 91, a life-long resident of Winona, who was employed with the Swift slaugterhouse, Safranek Meat Market, and Peerless Chain, died at Lake Winona Manor. He also was self-employed as a tree trimmer. He attended Washington-Kosiuski and St. Stan’s and Cotter schools. He was with the National Guard.
