RUSHFORD, Minn. — Helen Dorothy (Park) Novlan, 93, of Rushford, who operated a beauty shop for the 40 years, died at home. She bowled 23 years on the Rushford Foods team. She was an avid golfer., She was a trustee of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. At the church they called her “Mother Superior.” She was president of the Rushford American Legion Auxiliary Post 94. She held a seat on the Winona Vo-Tech Cosmetology Board. She volunteered with the Rushford Historical Society, the Good Shepherd Lutheran Services, and the Rushford Zoning Appeals Board
