STOCKTON, Minn. — James “Jim” R. Nelson, 69, of Stockton, a master story-teller with a gab to gab, and who worked many ryears in sales, died at Whitewater nursing home. After a life-altering stroke in 1997, he rehabbed and change careers, working for the state Department of Transportation and later the Minnesota City Bus Company. He was a master wood-worker. He served four years in the U.S. Navy.
