ST.CHARLES, Minn. — Jim Rainey, of St. Charles, WHO worked for Home Produce in St. Charles, before going to First National Bank, later Merchants Bank, in the insurance and trust department, died at home at age 89. He later worked for Smith Agency in St. Charles. After retirement he clerked for auctions with Murt Boyum. He was graduated from St. Charles High School and attended Winona State in music. In The U.S. Navy during the Korean War he served on the carrier Philippine Sea.
