WABASHA, Minn. – Loyde J. Wilcox Sr., 91, of Wabasha, who served as a fire warden, died at the Wabasha hospital. He was proprietor of Wilcox Resort, a real estate developer, a carpenter and home-builder. He loved the land and worked to conserve the sand prairies by planting thousands of trees to prevent erosion.
