WINONA, Minn. – Lun “Mike” Van Nguyen, 79, of Winona, who owned the Handy Corner bar, died at Gundersen hospital in LaCrosse. He was born in Vietnam and became a dance instructor. HE ended up in the military during the Vietnam war. He immigrated to the United States in 1975. He worked as a laborer until 1988, when he acquired Handy Corner.
