GOODVIEW, Minn. – Nicholas (Nick) John Gruber, a lifelong resident of Winona and Goodview and president of the Goodview Activity Group, died at age 68. He was a 1971 graduate of Winona High School. He worked at Winona Lighting for 40 years,before retiring in 2018. He participated in bowling leagues and belonged to Winona Bassmasters. He was a long-time gambling manager at St. Stan’s Church. He was known for his giant tomato plants.
