GALENA, Ohio – Ralph E. Albrecht, 96, who was with Peerless Chain in Winona for 45 years as a tool and die maker, shop foreman, and tool estimating engineer, died at Galena Manor in Galena, Ohio, where he spent the last three years to be near family. At Peerless he was president of the union. He was in the U.S. Air Force during the the Korean conflict. He was on the St. Matthew’s church school board and the building and grounds committee. He was active in the American Legion, Westfield Golf Club, and a board member at Sauer nursing Home.
