SAUK RAPIDS, Minn. – Ruth Florence Gottschalk, 95, of Sauk Rapids, an honor student who was graduated from Winona High School at age 16, died in hospice care at Good Shepherd nursing home. She held a degree from the Methodist-Kahler nursing school in Rochester. In World War II she was with the Nurse Cadet Corp. Her specialties were surgery and obstetrics.
