ROCHESTER, Minn. – Scott Alan Bloomquist, 56, of Rochester, an information technologist, died at Saint Marys hospital. He worked for Lawson Software, Sybase, Bebe Stores, and others. He co-founded Bloomquist Consulting and traveled throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. He was raised in Andover and Blaine, graduated from Blaine Christian Academy at 16, and attended Bethel University. He was a volunteer for a variety of causes, including supporting an orphanage, in Puerto Rico and Ecuador. He started g a food bank early in the CoVid pandemic. He recently returned to the United States and made home Rocheste his home.
