PONEMAH, Minn. — The Red Lake Tribal Council offered a $5,000 reward to help arrest whoever defaced tribal boundary signs with swastikas and the message “Trump 2020!” The messages were spray-painted. Tribal official blamed white supremacists. Tribal lands are on 12,000 square miles in all or parts of nine counties in northwest Minnesota, mostly centered on its namesake lake, which is the state’s largest lake. The tribal laads are home to 5,800 enrolled members.
