WINONA, Minn. – A robber took $150 from the cash drawer at the Winona Volunteer Services thrift shop, then jumped over the counter and fled. This, police said, was about 10 a.m. The clerk on duty said he had left his station for only minute. When he returned, the robber was emptying the cash drawer The employee said he tried to sop the man but was shoved aside.The man  then vaulted over the counter, cash in hand,  and was gone out the front door. No one was injured in the confrontation. The robber was described as a black man about 20, 5-foot-5, of small build, and wearing black jacket and black jeans.
