BRENTWOOD, Mo. – The U.S. Department of Agriculture ordered the recall of 4,200 pounds of Bob Evans sausage that somehow was ground up with thin blue rubber inside. Recalled were one-pound tubes of Italian-spiced sausage. The sausage was packed December 17 and shipped to retailers in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Some may have made it to grocer shelves neighboring states.
Laced from the factory with rubber. Bob Evans a Post Holdings brand. Among other brands: Grape-Nuts, Abbotsford Farms, Papetti;s, Better’, Eggs, Michael Foods, BellRing, Willamette Egg Farms.
ID’ing suspect tubes
Recalled were 16-ounce tubes of Bob Evans Italian sausage with lot code 0352 and a “USE/FRZ BY” date of “JAN 31 21” on the label. The contaminated products bear establishment number “EST. 6785” printed directly above the “USE/FRZ BY” date.

Throw them out or return to store for refund.
