MADISON, Wis. –The former superintendent of Altoona schools, Daniel Peggs, reached a plea deal in a complex sex case. Peggs agreed to plead guilty to one count of child pornography. Charges of sex trafficking of Altoona high school students, stemming from a Minnesota field trip, will be dropped if the deal is accepted in federal court. The a maximum penalty could be 10 years in prison and a of $250,000 fine.
