WINONA, Minn. – Senator Jeremy Miller, D-Winona, said he has intervened to restore at least some Co-Vid vaccine that the state Health Department had planned to divert away from Winona. In a KWNO radio interview, Miller said he has secureda third of doses that were to be sent elsewhere. Miller said the state was trying to get vaccine to counties with low inoculation rates. Essentially, Miller said, the state was about to penalize Winona for having an efficient vaccination process. Better would be to use Winona a model for other parts of the state.
